Dance Theatre
Her artistic language arises from the intersection of contemporary dance and physical theatre. Dama Brava was her company for a decade: a dance-theatre collective in public spaces from which she created powerful works that engage with social and urban realities, as well as with the memory of the body.

It is a street performance, a circular spectacle with a strong influence of corporeal mime and contemporary dance. It pays tribute to the laundresses of the past through a complex and compelling scenography. Through everyday movements and live music, the piece addresses themes of violence and gender discrimination. The dancers, using masks and costume changes, embody multiple characters, connecting dance with the community and bringing forgotten stories to light.
Lava'o a mano

Participated in the Container Theatre Selection at the Ex Cárcel Cultural Center in Valparaíso. The work explores the relationship between body, language, and urban space, combining words, chants, and everyday speech. The container becomes a stage that brings together performance, dance, and the collective memory of Valparaíso’s social environment.
Lenguatch

A performance that highlights women’s participation in Chile’s ollas comunes, where cooking becomes a symbol of survival, solidarity, and collective memory. The piece invites reflection on everyday life and dignity, consolidating Dama Brava’s artistic language in public spaces. Through movement, music, and theatre, it transforms the culinary experience into a poetic critique. With this work, Dama Brava celebrated five years of artistic practice through performances and community workshops.

It addresses gender violence through masks and contemporary dance. Set in sewers, the grandmothers wash and reveal hidden stories through movement. Mugre is an iconic work that fuses physicality, theatricality, and a profound social narrative.
